Hair removal with diode laser
Concentrated laser light is targeted straight at the hair pigment melanin. The resulting heat is directed to the hair roots, whereupon they become deserted.
As a consequence of its wavelength of only 800 nm, even particularly deep-rooted hairs can be removed efficiently. With the diode laser, the heat conversion from light to heat energy takes place very selectively, in contrast to the more extensive application of IPL light.
