Spider veins are usually vascular dilatations caused by genetic factors. The vessels dilate due to a vascular weakness. The capillaries lying directly under the surface of the skin become visible as a result. Spider veins most commonly occur around the legs and feet, but they can also appear on the face.

Until now, spider veins were usually treated with so-called sclerotherapy by painful sclerotherapy with a very fine injection. At BellaDerma, on the other hand, we have been using the three high-tech methods of high-power diode laser, IPL2 system and T-Away method for many years.

The upper layers of the skin are removed so that they can reform and thus regenerate. At BellaDerma, the very gentle “non-ablative” and “non-invasive” methods are used for this, e.g. by exposing the skin to intense pulsed light, the fibroblasts (connective tissue cells) are stimulated to produce more new collagen and elastin, which leads to the skin being refreshed.

Yes, especially when high-tech lasers are used, the result is amazing. Basically, the natural processes cannot be stopped, but they can be slowed down. The light impulses are scattered in a targeted manner and act on the skin with heat. The result is a deep renewal of the skin layers and also the formation of fresh collagen.

Acne scars are usually distributed over larger parts of the face. Very good cosmetic results can be achieved here with modern laser technology. Depending on the extent of the scars, other methods can also be used to remove acne scars.

Couperosis and rosacea are irreversible dilatations of capillary vessels or tiny veins that show through the epidermis. These vascular dilations are often congenital. Couperosis is a permanent dilatation of the veins and not, as is often assumed, a bursting of the veins. They can be treated well with intense pulsed light (ILP).

Spider nevi look like a spider web spreading across the skin. Smallest arterial skin vessels dilate, starting from a red vascular nodule. The visual impact is sometimes immense, but can be treated well.

Yes, instead of always using bleaching creams again, you can achieve permanent success with the Pico-Laser Picosure^®. It works with various lenses that refract the light in a special way and guide it to the target in order to neutralise the pigment melanin in the deeper layers of the skin.

To remove freckles, laser treatment with Picosure or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is particularly effective. Both methods have individual advantages and achieve the desired goal quickly and without significant side effects by penetrating the upper layers of the skin and dissolving the deposited pigments there.

Moles and liver spots should be examined by a doctor before possible removal to determine their possible malignancy. In rare cases, they can develop into malignant melanoma or a precursor of this skin cancer. The dermatologist will take a look at the moles from time to time and use screening to decide whether the moles are harmless or should be removed.

Pedunculated warts or age warts are not true warts and are therefore not contagious. They are actually fibromas, benign growths that pose no health risk whatsoever. Haemangiomas are also harmless, benign tumours. What all these growths have in common is that they look unsightly and should therefore often be removed for aesthetic reasons.
